According to the details provided in the statement, while representing JKLF delegation the spokesman of the party, Muhammad Rafiq Dar on the occasion put a detailed light on political, human and historical perspective of Kashmir issue. Feeling it as the moral responsibility of the international community, Rafiq Dar on the occasion conveyed to the British delegation that it has become very imperative now to unite the divided parts of the State, to resume the sovereignty of Jammu Kashmir and to bring about the immediate, just, permanent, peaceful and democratic resolution of Kashmir conflict. Expressing the JKLF point of view and need of tri-partite dialogue process, he said that Kashmir issue is not any territorial dispute between India and Pakistan to be decided by these two countries but it is the question of national liberation and question of future of more than twenty million State subjects of Kashmiri nation. Appealing the international community, Rafiq Dar during his discussion emphasized on the need that an opportunity be provided for the people of entire State of Jammu Kashmir so that they are able to decide about their fate by themselves. JKLF shall go along with the decision of the people of Jammu Kashmir, Rafiq Dar replied to a question put forth by one of the visiting delegates while briefing them about the foundations, objectives and ideology JKLF stands for.

The JKLF statement further states that Rafiq Dar while citing a few human rights violations, informed the delegation that even after UNHRC reports on Kashmir the continued human rights violations in Jammu Kashmir cements that the establishment of international human rights commission is necessary so that the facts come to the fore. He informed the delegation that after the Modi led extremist government of India’s 5th August, 2019 aggression, Kashmiris have witnessed a high amount of rise in the three decades long continued State terrorism in IOJK targeting the innocent freedom loving people of the State.

Citing the examples of Maqbool Butt Saheed and Afzal Guru Shaheed, Rafiq Dar on the occasion while briefing the delegation put light on the illegal incarceration, non-availability of proper medical care and solitary confinement of the most popular leader and chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik in Tihar Jail, appealed them to play their role to save his life and impress upon India for the early release of all detainees including Yasin Malik. The JKLF spokesman while declaring the party position suggested that for the resumption of any result oriented dialogue process, the resumption of national identity, early and unconditional release of all detainees including the leadership, intra-Kashmir dialogue, withdrawal of occupational forces, freedom of assembly, end of human rights violations and lifting of ban on media is necessary. JKLF at the end of the meeting handed over a worthy reading document prepared by JKLF founder and Patron-in-Chief Late Amanullah Khan and a paper prepared on Yasin Malik by party’s diplomatic bureau head Prof. Raja Zafar Khan to Debe Abraham for her consideration.
